Volunteers travel deep into the strand to maintain trails and repair bridges. A dedicated vehicle will help them keep Fakahacking!

Volunteers travel deep into the strand to maintain trails and repair bridges. A dedicated vehicle will help them keep Fakahacking!

We invite you to help support the Park by making your year-end tax-deductible donation to the Friends of Fakahatchee. With your help we will be able to provide a vehicle that volunteers can count on for safe and reliable transportation throughout the Preserve as they clear trails, repair bridges, remove exotic species, conduct surveys and so much more.

Did you know that FOF volunteers help maintain over 50 miles of trails within the Preserve? In fact, volunteers contribute nearly 2,500 hours yearly in the field, and the Board of Directors and the Park manager will dedicate funds donated through the annual request to purchase of an all-terrain vehicle to be primarily used by our dedicated volunteers.
